Last of the Yugos is a New York bakery project rooted in the food of the former Yugoslavia.
The recipes traveled the way people did — through borders, family kitchens, handwritten notebooks, and memory. The food that never needed explaining when you were growing up.
Born in Sarajevo and shaped by years in professional pastry kitchens, I started Last of the Yugos to carry those foods forward — not as museum pieces, but as something alive, made here in New York.
